Control Modifier Actions
These actions control a modifier, usually only to the extent of activating or deactivating it for a particular particle. Think of them as being able to 'turn on' or 'turn off' a modifier, and they do so not simply for all emitted particles but right down to the level of an individual particle.
To use such an action, the modifier MUST be in action-controlled mode (see the Modifiers page for more details). Actions will have no effect on modifiers in independent mode. As a workflow convenience, dropping a modifier into the link field of its associated action will automatically set the modifier into action-controlled mode, but you can do this manually if necessary.
